The Hipster Hunt is a short film created by two Columbia Journalism School students Julie Percha and Lorena Galliot, and I should thank Emily Brown too forspreading the news. The idea of the short film is to de-code the hipster term for those doesn’t have a clue what that’s all about. One of them, Lorena, is French and got herself very confused about the term, this is when she start doing a research about hipster. They live in New York, a city known as the central of the hipsters.

This quirky piece takes viewers around the streets of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, where they are guided by an “accidental hipster” blogger. It also incorporates the voices of the Journalism School’s own Prof. David Hajdu, as he delves into the term’s jazzy origins.

Fight For Your Right (Revisited) is an Adam Yauch’s 2011 film commemorates the Beastie Boys’ legendary music video, (You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party!). This is a 30 minute surreal film that picks up where the original video left off. It has Elijah Wood, Danny McBride and Seth Rogen on the cast.

Adam Yauch, one-third of the pioneering hip-hop group the Beastie Boys, has died at the age of 47. Yauch, also known as MCA, had been in treatment for cancer since 2009. The rapper was diagnosed in 2009 after discovering a tumor in his salivary gland.

It claims as the biggest color party in the world. Our friend @JakaAdy is kind enough to share us the link. The original name of the festival is Holi, it’s a religious festival celebrated by Hindus for welcoming spring. From Wikipedia, the most celebrated Holi is in the Braj region, in locations connected to the Lord Krishna: Mathura, Vrindavan, Nandagaon, and Barsana.

Obviously, with those kind of art and celebration, these places have become tourist destinations during the festive season of Holi. Large parts of South India, however, do not celebrate Holi with the same fervour as in other parts of the country. The main day, Holi, is celebrated by people throwing scented powder and perfume at each other. And that’s exactly what you going to see in the video.

The created by Devin Graham, visit his YouTube Channel for more video like this one.

Where the hell is Matt is a project by Matt Harding and Melissa Nixon, the idea is to travel around the world and dance! He travels for 14 months during the project, to 42 countries, with a cast of thousands people. Matt had this Q&A section on his website that will give you loads of info (and jokes) about the project. He’s currently doing another round for next dancing video, and would love to tell you whenever he’s dancing in your area.

Thanks @rezafatul for the heads up.
